Penalty Schedule for Late Tax Payments Top of Page • Monday, July 1 - No Penalty • July 2-July 31, 2024 - 7.5% • Aug 1-Sept 3, 2024 - 9% • Sept 4-Sept 30, 2024 - 10.5% • Oct 1- Oct 31, 2024 - 12% Exemptions Top of Page Qualifying income limit including social security for the Village of Sloan is $19,800. Tax rate for the 2023/2024 year is $6.266930 per $1,000 assessed value Top of Page To obtain a village tax certificate through the mail, send the appropriate fee made payable to "Village of Sloan" along with a SASE and a letter of request to: Village of Sloan 425 Reiman Street Sloan, NY 14212 The fee for each certificate requested is $10.00. Tax receipt copies are free and can be faxed if necessary. Renting Village Facilities Top of Page Park Shelter Rentals: Must be Village of Sloan Resident $50 Fee + $50 Security Deposit** To serve alcohol, you must obtain an Open Container Permit which costs $5 Print application here Piekarski Center or Sloan Fire Hall Rates for Sloan Firefighters & Village Employees: $100 Fee + $200 Security Deposit* Rates for Village Residents: $200 Fee + $200 Security Deposit* Rates for Non-Residents: $600+ $600 Security Deposit* Print application here **Security Deposits are refundable provided facility is left clean, with no damage, and free of debris/litter.
